SkinCare Review: Sunday Riley Good Genes Treatment

One of the most recent cult favourites to hit the beauty world, Sunday Riley has become a coveted brand that offers skincare that is globally sought after by many celebrities and distinguished makeup artists :) and this product the "Good Genes Treatment" is one of their best, in their lineup of great skincare products :) Lets take a look shall we?

The Sunday Riley Good Genes Treatment is a marvelous multi-tasking treatment/mask that provides hydration, epidural thickness and firmness, brightening, reduction of hyperpigmentation, even skin tone, reduction of lines and wrinkles, smoothing, supports natural circulation in skin. An all in one product, its also said to be a flash facial, providing dramatic results.
Sunday Riley "Good Gene Treatment"
The key ingredients include the following; "High potency pharmaceutical grade lactic acid" which exfoliates/refines skin, decreases wrinkle depth over a time period, and plumps lines."Licorice" which is an anti-inflammatory and a natural skin brightener. "Arnica" which counteracts the sting of the lactic acid and boosts circulation."Yeast" which helps heal the skin and builds healthier & more durable skin. "Lemongrass" delivers oxygen to the skin, raises vibrancy & radiance.
Other interesting ingredients included are; blue agave, orchid, prickly pear, coconut oil and squalene.

This can be used morning or evening, with one pump for the entire face before any other moisturizers or treatments. Aside from that, it can double as a peel, by using five pumps on the face, leaving it for a recommended 20min before rinsing it off. This method would be used for a immediate transformation. To use as a mask, it would have to be combined with Sunday Riley's "Ceramic Slip" cleanser and spread over face for a recommended 10-30 min for instant radiance.

This product is effective in so many different ways for several different skin issues. It truly is an all in one. I would highly recommend this to all who have uneven, acne prone, hyperpigmented spotted, lack luster skin to aide it to a better state. Of course, even if you don't have any of those skin problems, this product is wonderful for providing radiance and up keeping the health of your skin. This is for all skin types.

Good Genes Treatment is formulated without parabens, sulfates, phthalates. It's cruelty free, vegan, gluten free, hypoallergenic, and formulated without synthetic fragrances.
You need to give it a go!

Makeup Review: TOM FORD Cream & Powder Eye Colour Duo

Tom Ford... do I even need to say anything further? The brand radiates luxury at its finest :) Known for their high end fashion and accessories.. it was no surprise for them to offer beauty products as well. Today, Tom Ford Beauty products are known to be cult favourites, offering a wide range of things, from skincare, makeup to one of a kind fragrances.

One of my personal favourites from Tom ford beauty line are their eyeshadows... so delicate, pigmented and their array of colours and shades are fabulous. Once you try these, you will understand what I mean ;)

This particular eyeshadow called Cream & Powder Eye Colour Duo, is nothing short of magnificant. The top layer holds Tom Ford's well known finish, the 'celestial' powder shadow that shimmers and captures the light, and the bottom layer holds the metallic cream shadow which is satin smooth, applies very pigmented and sets the stage to whatever look you are going for with this product.

I would recommend applying an eyeshadow base to this, even though it is long wearing and can hold up on its own...but giving it that extra mile wont hurt to prevent any creasing. Its also better to use one if you have oily to combination skin type. These duo's go on every skin tone, flattering for everyone. Use the cream shadow on its own, or with the celestial powder shadow, or use the celestial powder on its own if you'd like that look. You can also mix and match a cream shadow from one pot with a different celestial powder from another duo. There are many looks and possibilities with these and a little bit goes a long way!

TOM FORD Cream & Powder Eye Colour Duo in "Midnight Sea" & "Naked Bronze"

The colours available are; "Black Oyster" which has soft black metallic cream base with a charcoal/grey celestial powder. "Midnight Sea" has a dark chocolate brown metallic cream base with an aqua/tealish blue celestial powder. "Golden Peach" has a light metallic peach/champagne pink cream base with a peach celestial powder. "Naked Bronze" has a true golden warm bronze cream base with a golden celestial powder. " Night Sky" a deep midnight blue metallic cream base with a shimmery midnight blue celestial powder which also has some reflex of purple & green shimmer in it... (that's just what I saw in the lighting I was in) that may differ from person to person.

TOM FORD Cream & Powder Eye Colour Duo in "Golden Peach" & "Black Oyster"

You can find "Golden Peach" & "Naked Bronze" for $86.80 CAD and "Night Sky" for $95.48 CAD on www.nordstrom.com
On www.neimanmarcus.com & www.tomford.com "Night Sky" for $66.00 USD,  "Midnight Sea" & "Black Oyster" for $60.00 USD.

TOM FORD Cream & Powder Eye Colour Duo in "Night Sky"

Yes these are pricey for a eye shadow, but you do get two in one package, and for the amazing quality and stunning colours/shine... it is worth it to have in your makeup stash! In my opinion you wont need to repurchase one you have because it will last a really long time, like I said... a little goes a long way. Totally worth the splurge... and why not? You deserve it! :)
