Fragrance Review: Atelier Cologne

There 's fragrances... and then there are *Fragrances*..... Perfumes you know that will last for a long time with you, those that will invoke memories of certain things, people or places most important in your life. Enter Atelier Cologne. The name itself gives the ambiance of luxury and something special. There's something for everyone ...this brand does not disappoint!

In 2009, founders Sylvie Ganter & Christophe Cervasel created Cologne Absolue. The first Maison de Parfum creating pure perfumes inspired by Eau de Cologne. For the first time citruses are blended with raw materials to create bespoke aroma's.

Using highly concentrated essential oils, these master perfumers produce a very long lasting fragrance when its paired up with citrus's and herbal ingredients...and I do mean long lasting :) Perfumes are a personal thing, what is an amazing scent for one may not be another persons pick or a favorite. So if you are buying for another person, make sure you know their personal scent preferences :)

I got a sample box from Sephora as one of my gifts this holiday season, of course I was tickled pink because I had tested several out a few times previously already trying to figure out which one I liked most. Smaller sample boxes are great so you don't need to fully commit to one large bottle, but have several that you can use to figure out what suits you best.

The sample box I received is specifically only available in the Canadian Sephora site. Online or in store. However the Atelier Cologne site & Sephora site for USA do offer other sampler boxes with several different types of their scents, and quantity in the box. So you still have options :)

Atelier Cologne Necessaire Nomade Gift Set

The samples include the following; Left to Right. Take note these descriptions are in their own words, not mine :) There are many others from their line, this box just included these select ones.
"Vanille Insensée" an electrical current runs through the subtle sweetness of vanilla, jasmine, and fresh lime to bond with rich oak moss, woods, and spicy coriander.
"Cédrat Enivrant"Designed primarily around citrus notes, the traditional ingredients of a cologne, and inspired by the French 75 cocktail, is for lovers of lemon and gin notes.
"Orange Sanguine" zesty and energizing burst of crushed ripe fruit, plays sweet blood orange juice against bitter orange peel and sensual notes of geranium.
"Pomélo Paradis" is a new and unexpected fragrance experience. Fresh and sparkling pomelo from Florida floats over rich notes of blackcurrant bud and the complexity of Haitian vetiver.
"Mandarine Glaciale"is a citrus, fresh fragrance with notes of mandarin from Calabria, ginger from China, and heart of vetiver from Haiti.
"Sud Magnolia" is a floral and fresh fragrance with notes of magnolia from Louisiana, bitter orange from Seville, and atlas cedar wood from Morocco.
"Figuier Ardent" is a woody and floral fragrance with notes of fig leaf from Provence, bergamot from Calabria, and cedarwood from Virginia.
"Cèdre Atlas" is a woody and citrus fragrance with notes of atlas cedar wood from Moroccan rif, lemon from Sicily, and white amber.

The box I am showcasing here is the Atelier Cologne Necassaire Nomade Gift Set. This retails for $55.00 CAD www.sephora.ca , a $134.00 value.

Give it a go, like I said there are several more scents from this brand, something for every ones taste :) I highly recommend checking this amazing perfume line out!

I hope you all enjoyed this review/recommendation! Let me know what your thoughts were & if you have any further questions feel free to comment or email me!
