SkinCare Review: Bioderma Sensibio h2o Micellar Solution Senstive Skin

Possibly the best if not one of the best cleansing solutions around in the market. For women & men!

This is formulated for sensitive, normal to dry skin types. I have a combination skin type & I know many ladies with different types of skin types who use this, therefore I think this particular formula works for any skin type. It is a clear solution looking like water & it cleanses both face & is safe for eyes. This removes water resistant makeup, micro emulsifies impurities, and leaves your skins balance as is. This also guarantees excellent cutaneous and ocular tolerance (tested under ophthalmological supervision).

Formulated without; alcohol free & fragrance free. You can use this several times a day whenever you feel you need to clean your face. Place a few drops or soak a cotton pad with it & swipe all over the face, repeat with new cotton pad if needed till cotton pad shows no signs of makeup or dirt.

This is not supposed completely replace a face wash but to be used to take off makeup prior to washing face or after washing face to make sure every bit of dirt it off. This gets waterproof eye makeup off really well, as well as normal hard to get off makeup. I find this solution helps me when I am feeling extra oily and it doesn't dry out the skin either. It leaves it soft & hydrated.

Also if you have acne prone skin this sensitive line solution will aid you in your daily facial routine to bring your skin to a normal state in time. There are other types of this solution in this brand, I will post a review of them shortly :)

Beauty bloggers swear by this & I do too. Give it a try... I can't think of why anyone would be disappointed in this product! :)

You can purchase this at select drugstores, more readily available in Canada than USA. However check stores around you. Or purchase at www.beautylish.com or www.murale.ca

Makeup Review: Fresh Sugar Tinted LipTreatment & Advanced Sugar Lip Therapy

Dry chapped, flaky, cracked lips? No one likes having lips like that. They come in colorless & tinted ones to suit every need with SPF 15. So whoever wants the benefits of soft well conditioned lips and the choice of a tint to basically to replace the use of a lip product with colour... there's options :)

The formulation of these lip balms hydrate your lips with added effects of some lip plumping essential fatty acids... just makes your lips slightly fuller. It has antioxidants (grapeseed polyphenols) and vitamins A, C & E which provide protection from wrinkle-causing agents. Essential oils like jojoba oil, meadowfoam seed oil, avocado oil & blackcurrant seed oil. It has sugar in it too. Last but not least it has SPF to protect your lips from damaging UV rays. I'd say this is a good deal!
Made without the following; parabens, sulphates, mineral oil, GMO's, triclosan, synthetic dyes, lanolin, petroleum & petrochemicals.

Through my experience & the ladies in my life who use this, I find this lip balm provides a nourishing moisturizing effect even long after it is gone from the lips so it really does sink into your skin and give it all those wonderful benefits. It can be used as a base before applying lipstick or lip gloss if you need or want that extra layer of protection or moisture saturation, which is what I do while putting on my makeup, the first thing I do is slap on this lip balm and do everything else, and so in the meantime my lips get moisturized for any following lip product.

Makeup Review: Stila Magnificent Metals Foil Finish Eye Shadow

Hello everyone! My first product review!! Yay! Ok on with it then ;) I dont think anyone could have missed these at Sephora or any other store that sells Stilla products... a bit hard to miss I must say! I have two colours to review of this; Vintage Black Gold & Metalic Cobalt. Ooooo the name alone reeled me in ;)

Now this eyeshadow comes with a small bottle of "stay all day liquid primer" and a small metal pan to mix the concoction. When I came upon this in Sephora I tried this without the primer, it had good pigmentation & has a nice sparkly shimmer... and I must say you dont have to use the primer. However if you want the very intense metallic effect for a night out, a special day etc then go for it & follow directions as set out on package. I found this could be used dry very well, if you have oily or combination skin use an eye primer that will keep it in place with all the sparkles. For me a south asian, having a beige undertone with several shades of lets say mocha? lol;) this worked & looked beautiful on me. To remove you will need a good makeup remover, this does leave shimmer on the skin.

If you are going to use this dry on top of a eyeshadow primer, you can use a eyeshadow brush, if you want further pigmentation and sparkle but using it dry, try patting it on with a flatbrush. If you want to use it wet as recommended on package, then use your fingers or a synthetic flat brush to pat it on.

Stilla Magnificent Metals Foil Eyeshadow in "Vintage Black Gold" & "Metallic Cobalt"

Although usually store personnel use 3 undertones to describe; pink, yellow & beige (also called neutral tone). I think theres makeup with more orange undertone for those with deeper skin tone, I also think theres olive...which I think is an in between of having some yellow undertone & beige. Everyone undertone comes in various strengths, so always swatch everything & come to your own personal decision of what looks good on your undertone & skintone.

If you have a pink undertone I'd recommend staying away from the pink colored ones and the lavender one so you wont highlight your pink undertone unless you are using color correcting skincare or face makeup, then go ahead swatch these & see what you think.

If you have a yellow or more orange undertone, I'd avoid the more yellow or orange based colours   Again if you are using color correcting skincare or face makeup, then go ahead swatch these & see what you think.

People with beige undertones... lucky you, having this undertone is quite neutral so you can wear whichever color you like.

These come in several shades as follows;
"Comex Platinum" - chrome silver sheen
"Titanium" - gunmetal grey sheen
"Kitten"- nude pink sheen
"Metallic Dusty Rose" - rosy pink sheen
"Metallic Lavender"- light lavender purple sheen
"Metallic Violet" - violet shimmer
"Metallic Laurel" - melon green sheen
"Metallic Emerald" - emerald green sheen
"Metallic Cobalt" - cobalt/denim blue sheen
"Vintage Black Gold" - light black with pearly gold sheen
"Metallic Gilded Gold" - golden bronze luster
"Comex Gold" - orange gold sheen
"Comex Copper" - brownish copper sheen
"Metallic Merlot"- deep wine sheen

I think this is a great product, it has good pigment & very nice shimmer. I think this is one for every woman's makeup kit, for the days to go Va-Va-Voom!! :)

You can purchase these for $42.00 CAD or $32.00 USD on www.sephora.ca , www.sephora.com  or www.stila.com

Enjoy!! and let me know what your thoughts were & if you have any further questions feel free to comment or email me!
